Morrissey was performing on Friday at the Staples Center and he decided to call out Beyonce on her choice of handbags. The former member of The Smiths has never been one to stay out of the headlines, or bite his tongue, but just before he was set to perform the vegetarian-friendly song "Meat Is Murder" he began talking about how rhinos are very close to becoming extinct. Morrissey said of the situation "It's not due to global warming or shrinking habitats. It's because of Beyonce's handbags. So, god bless the rhinos."
Just this week Morrissey turned down an invitation to perform on Jimmy Kimmel's show because the cast of Duck Dynasty was also a guest, and he referred to them as "animal serial killers".
Coincidentally, PETA just this week also called out Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z because their sneakers are made out of an assortment of animals. DUN DUN DUN.
All we can say is...tell PETA my mink is draggin' on the floor.
