Mary J. Blige already had legal trouble earlier this month when she defaulted on a $500,000 bank loan, because of that she being sued by the Bank Of American. Blige took out the loan in 2005 and reportedly stopped making payments on it in June of last year. Now she is back in hot water this time because of taxes. She owes the state of New Jersey $900,000 in back taxes. If you want to know exactly how much Blige owes the number is $901,769.65.
Also troubling Blige is her charity work. She's being sued because the charity defaulted on a $2.2 million loan from Signature Bank. The Mary J. Blige And Steve Stoute Foundation For The Advancement Of Women is also being sued by TD bank, they've failed to pay back a $250,000 loan.
