Chief Keef was taken into police custody Tuesday afternoon after a judge found he violated his probation.

Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, had been on probation for pointing a gun at Chicago Police officers. Late last year, he released a new album “Finally Rich” to mixed reviews.

Prosecutors had said Cozart is shown holding a gun in a videotaped trip to a New York range in April — a probation violation because he’s not supposed to possess firearm
