An East Hampton man was robbed Sunday at his home on Three Mile Harbor Road. A 23-year-old man Jacob R. Carter of Montauk, and a 21-year-old man, Jonathan I. Pressley, of Southhampton were both arrested. The police said they were both charged with second-degree robbery and will be arraigned today in East Hampton Town Justice Court. The victim of the crime, Nester N. Igna, a 20-year-old man was robbed after a confrontation, and then the two robbers left the scene. However, around midnight the men were captured when they were located, still in their getaway vehicle on Stephan Hands Path in East Hampton.
Police did not release what was taken in the robbery, and wouldn't say if the men knew of each other before the robbery, or how they might have known each other. If you have any information about the robbery please call the East Hampton police at 631-537-7575.
