The former Spice Girl, Melanie Brown, aka Mel B. will be taking the place of Sharon Osbourne as a judge on next seasons "America's Got Talent". Osbourne has been a judge on the show since it's premier in 2006, she apparently left after she was left feeling that her son was mistreated by the NBC network. Anyway, the 37-year-old Mel B. is no stranger to judging on these types of shows. She was previously on "The X Factor UK" and "The X Factor Australia" - and rumor has is she is Simon Cowell's favorite judge. Personally we're happy to see Mel B., although anyone but Rosie O'Donnell sounds good. Last December O'Donnell said that she was in talks with NBC about the position, and added that she was very interested in becoming a judge.
