Lindsay Lohan Late For Court

Lindsay Lohan hopped a last minute flight to Los Angeles to appear in court for misdemeanor charges stemming from her June 2012 car accident.  However, the actress was about seven minutes late, which isn't too bad by the actress' standards.  The judge, Stephanie Sautner, was sure to mention that Lohan tried to skip court because of her terrible illness, but the judge remarked "I'm glad to see you're feeling better". Lohan looked tired and was wearing little make-up, and she showed up to court with her mom and a new lawyer, Mark Jay Heller. However the judge was tough on Lohan's new lawyer, when Heller said something about him being from New York and hearing that Sautner was also from New York, Sautner immediately cut him off saying "flattery doesn't get you anywhere".

The lady judge sounds like one tough cookie.  All in all Lohan made out okay and won't have to appear at the next pre-trial hearing scheduled for March 1. She will be set to appear March 18th when the case goes to trial.
